In 2002, God led Community Bible Fellowship and Trinity Baptist Church to discuss a possible merger. Community Bible Fellowship began looking for different facilities because God blessed them with increased numbers and the need for facilities that offered expanded resources for youth, meeting rooms and multi-purpose space.
Trinity Baptist Church, though not looking specifically to merge, prayerfully sought God for ways to see their resources more utilized for the kingdom. God had blessed them with several estate gifts in the recent past that enabled them to do significant building improvements and provided them with financial resources so that their ministry potential exceeded the capacity of the people attending.
As the two churches prayerfully pondered why God might bring them together, many ideas surfaced for moving people toward Christ – ideas to both reach the lost and to mature the believers in our church families. Months of prayer and dialogue culminated in a merger and on October 6th, 2002, Trinity Fellowship held the inaugural worship service.
As a single church has emerged from these two communities we have learned about the joy, and cost, of laboring together for His Kingdom. While honoring our dual heritage, we look forward as a single community of faith, confident that He who began a good work in us will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus!
We at Trinity Fellowship are an evangelical church, associated with the North American Baptist Conference, committed to growing in our relationship with our savior Jesus Christ and sharing with those who do not yet know him.
On Sunday mornings we offer one 90-minute service designed to glorify God and build up the body of Christ through the active participation of all worshipers, employing a variety of methods and styles. This service is held at 10:00 a.m.
